Seeking auction item donations!

Updated: Jun 26

We will be hosting a fundraising auction on Saturday, August 9; starting at 10:30 AM. The auction is the first fundraising event of this kind that the Wilder Association has put on. Proceeds will help pay for repairs and upgrades that are needed immediately in order to protect and preserve the buildings at the Homestead.

We are reaching out to area businesses and the general public for donations of auctionable items. And we would be grateful for your support. We are seeking items such as gift certificates, products, or services from local businesses to include in our auction.

Suggested items for donations from artisans, craftspersons, other non-profits, families, and individuals include gift baskets, event tickets, camping gear, fishing gear, musical instruments, tech, art supplies, children’s play sets, signed memorabilia, craft and DIY kits, free lessons, classes, and memberships, and high-end household goods, kitchen items, sports equipment, garden tools, etc.

Your support can make a meaningful difference. Your generous donation says you support your community and want to help us achieve our goals. And in recognition of your support, we would be pleased to offer 2 free admission passes to the Wilder Homestead on Aug. 9 for our Heritage Day event. There is no charge to attend the auction on the day, but there are admission fees to the Wilder Homestead for the Heritage Day event being held at the Farm on that day.

If you have an item to donate, reach out to us at 518-483-1207 during open hours or email farm@almanzowilderfarm.com for further details. We would be happy to arrange a pickup or discuss any questions you may have.
