Come to our annual meeting! January 24

The Board of Directors of the Almanzo and Laura Ingalls Wilder Association (ALIWA) will  hold their Annual Meeting on January 24 and the public is invited to attend. The meeting will be begin at 10:00 am at Tailwagger Café, 206 Brand Road, Malone.  Cost is $15 and includes light morning snacks, drinks, and a buffet lunch.

Join us in celebrating our 2025 accomplishments as we review our progress and goals for the coming year. New board members will be elected and welcomed.

Guest speaker Mick Jarvis of the Chateaugay Historical Society will present a short history of transportation in this area, including the influence of the railroad. The railroad opened lines of commerce for Franklin County farmers to reach distant markets including New York City.  The Wilder family produced commodities on their farm, including potatoes and Mrs. Wilder's butter that routinely made its way to market via rail.

We value your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions and appreciate input about what we are doing well and where we need to improve. We welcome questions about volunteer opportunities and ways to become involved and supportive.

We hope to see you at the meeting and appreciate your continued support. RSVP’s are needed by January 20th, as space will be limited. Reserve and pre-pay online here or email farm@almanzowilderfarm.com.
