JUNE 20, 2026 Join us for a fun day for kids with traditional games to play, shingle  shaving, farm animals, and more! Awards will be given  for the children's art show and essay contest. Honorary Almanzo and Laura will be announced! The Wilder buildings will be open with guides for self guided tours.  Hot dog & burger vendor on site. Reduced admission! Adults, $8, youth 6-16, $5, 5 and under are free

FRIDAY, MAY 15, 2026 Every year, Wilder Farm offers tours to the schools in our area, allowing children to connect the book Farmer Boy , which they read as part of the curriculum, to the life of Almanzo in the North Country. Because we offer schools a reduced rate of admission, we'd like to open this opportunity to homeschool families.   Come see history and beloved literature brought to life, and connect with other homeschooling families.
