
ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual Meeting of the ALIWA will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10am at Gallagher's Restaurant in Malone NY. All members are welcome to attend. This meeting was rescheduled from the previous date of January 10th.

Boyhood home of Almanzo Wilder will open Monday-Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Last tour at 3:00
p.m. each day.

Children's activities: face painting, games, and more
1:00-2:00 & 2:30-3:30 - art class with certified instructor Marjorie Deckerlimit. 10 students per session, ages 12-16 years, registration required - call Wilder Homestead after June 1.
STORY HOUR
July, August & September.
Story Hour with children, two days per month from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Adult must accompany and remain with child. Admission charge if guided tour requested. Please call for exact dates for Story Hour.
ADULT OIL PAINTING CLASS

Painting Class with noted artist Wilson Bickford. 8-20 students; $55
including all materials and optional tour; registration required with nonrefundable deposit of $25. 11:30 - optional tour of Homestead. 1:00-5:00 - art class begins promptly at 1:00. Call Wilder Homestead.

Reduced admission: adults - $5.00, children 6-16 - $3.00, 5 and under free.
No guided tours. Family activities: pumpkin painting, scarecrow making,
19th century games, chapter readings from Farmer Boy, and more.
1:00 - Civil War Skirmish

10:00-4:00 - Homestead open - regular admission & guided tours.
10:00 - Church service with Civil War re-enactors

"CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH ALMANZO"

Free admission. 11:00-3:00. Enjoy readings of the Christmas chapter from Farmer Boy in the parlor at 11:30 & 1:00. Adult must accompany and remain with children. Enjoy homemade cookies, mulled cider, Christmas carols and shopping in our gift shop. Complimentary gift wrapping from purchases. "Happy Christmas!"
