Boyhood home of Almanzo Wilder will open Monday-Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Last tour at 3:00
p.m. each day.

Admission: Adults $5.00, children 6-16 $3.00, 5 and under free, Active
Duty Military free with Military ID, Military dependents with Military
ID 50% discount.
Morgan Horse presentation by Karen Laselle from
Minor Institute; William Anderson, author of many Wilder books
available in our gift shop; Andrew Perry Cloggers performing from 11
am - 1:00 pm; Carl Stickney Exhibit: Artifacts of Almanzo's Time;
period games; artisians demonstrating period textile making; food &
beverages available.
STORY HOUR
July, August & September.
Story Hour with children, two days per month from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Adult must accompany and remain with child. Admission charge if guided tour requested. Please call for exact dates for Story Hour.
ANNUAL HARVEST FESTIVAL
September 25. Time 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Admission: Adults $5.00, Children 6-16 $3.00, 5 and under free.
Collectibles & Craft Fair (Vendors - call us for details after 15 May.);
19th Century games; Artisan's demonstration of 19th century textile
production. Exhibit: Artifacts of Almanzo Wilder's time; pumpkin
painting; chapter readings from Farmer Boy; scarecrow building; food
and music. Floral arrangements by Malone Garden Club.
"CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH ALMANZO"
December 4. Time: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Free admission. Come and enjoy readings from the Farmer Boy
Christmas chapter in the parlor of the house at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30
p.m. (Adults must accompany and remain with the child.) Enjoy
homemade cookies, Christmas carols, children's activities indoors and
outdoors (weather permitting) and perhaps do some last minute
shopping in our store with complimentary gift wrapping for items
purchased. Join us as we celebrate the spirit of Christmas
at the Wilder Homestead!
